Nvidia reportedly nears $14B acquisition of Hugging Face

Nvidia $NVDA is reportedly nearing a roughly $14 billion acquisition of Hugging Face, according to Bloomberg, in what would become the largest deal in the company's history if completed.
Hugging Face is one of the most widely used open-source AI platforms, serving millions of developers across model hosting, datasets and machine-learning tooling.
The reported valuation would represent a major step up from Hugging Face's previous private-market valuation and would significantly deepen Nvidia's position beyond chips into the software and developer ecosystem surrounding AI.
