Server CPU Shortage Sends China Prices Surging

$AMD and $INTC are reportedly seeking long-term supply agreements with major Chinese customers as server CPU availability tightens.
Prices for some processors in China have climbed more than 40% this year , while lead times for certain $INTC server chips have stretched to as long as six months .
The shortage is giving chipmakers greater pricing power as demand for data centers and AI infrastructure continues to strain supply.
