FBI investigates claims of major breach by ShinyHunters

Hacking group ShinyHunters claims it breached FBI systems and obtained information involving employees and applicants, according to The Register.
The group alleges that it exploited an Oracle zero-day to compromise the FBI jobs site before accessing AWS GovCloud infrastructure and downloading 2 to 3 terabytes of data. These claims have not been independently confirmed.
The FBI says it is aware of claims regarding unauthorized activity and is investigating. The affected jobs site remains offline, while the scope and authenticity of the alleged data theft remain under investigation.
