Berkshire Hathaway Boosts Alphabet $GOOGL Stake 83% to Nearly $38B
Berkshire Hathaway dramatically increased its position in Alphabet $GOOGL during Q2.
The conglomerate raised its holdings by 83% to nearly 106 million shares, worth approximately $37.8 billion at the end of June.
That makes Alphabet Berkshire’s third-largest U.S. equity holding, behind only Apple $AAPL and American Express $AXP.
The position now represents roughly 12% of Berkshire’s $323.8 billion equity portfolio.
The move marks one of Berkshire’s largest recent bets on Big Tech as Alphabet continues scaling its AI and cloud businesses.
