$GOOGL Launches Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber

Google launched Gemini 3.8 Flash for coding and agentic workflows, alongside Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, a specialized variant for autonomous vulnerability discovery and patching.
Pricing for the base model is set at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens through December 31, doubling in 2027. Cyber reportedly topped a 70% success rate on Google's internal vulnerability benchmark spanning 20 programming languages, and Google's Chrome Security team said it produced 2.6x more correct patches than larger commercial models. Google Cloud's Vulnerability Research team also used the model to find a critical vulnerability in under two hours.
Cyber access is initially limited to trusted defenders through Google's new Fairwind program, targeting government agencies, critical infrastructure operators, and security teams.
