AI Funding Wave Points to Record Issuance

AI infrastructure is pushing companies back toward the equity market. JPMorgan estimates net equity issuance could rise to about $200 billion in 2026 and roughly $1.2 trillion in 2027. IPOs, secondary offerings, and other share sales could help fund the next leg of AI spending.
