$AMD Crosses 30% x86 PC CPU Market Share for the First Time

Advanced Micro Devices ($AMD) has reached a 30.3% share of the x86 PC CPU market in the second quarter, marking the first time the company has crossed the 30% threshold. This represents a significant increase from its 21.1% share two years ago, while Intel ($INTC) holds the remaining 69.7% of the x86 market.
$AMD is gaining ground across both the desktop and notebook segments. Meanwhile, Arm Holdings ($ARM) is also steadily expanding its presence, now controlling 15.3% of the overall PC CPU market.
