Strategy Adds 250 BTC for $21.5M While Reportedly Spending $192.4M on STRC Share Repurchases
Strategy $MSTR reportedly purchased another 250 $BTC for approximately $21.5 million during October 5–11, increasing its total Bitcoin holdings to 848,250 BTC.
The company is also reported to have repurchased approximately $192.4 million of its STRC preferred shares during the same period, spending nearly nine times as much on those repurchases as on its latest Bitcoin acquisition.
According to the supplied figures, Strategy has accumulated its Bitcoin holdings at a total cost of approximately $64 billion and maintains a cash reserve of roughly $4.88 billion. Most of the latest Bitcoin purchase was reportedly financed through sales of MSTR common stock.
The allocation between Bitcoin purchases and preferred share repurchases highlights the company's broader capital management strategy. Buying back preferred shares may affect outstanding financing obligations, while issuing common stock can provide capital without requiring the sale of existing Bitcoin holdings.
The reported transactions, financing details and reserve figures require confirmation through Strategy's official disclosures. Investors will be monitoring future Bitcoin acquisitions, equity issuance, preferred share obligations and the company's ability to maintain financial flexibility during periods of cryptocurrency volatility.
