US Government Says Anthropic Is "Back on the Right Side"

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Anthropic is "back on the right side" with the Trump administration, according to Axios, adding: "We trust Anthropic. They've done what we asked."
The comment comes days after a U.S. judge sided with Anthropic in its dispute with the military over AI safety, after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had blocked the company from certain contracts over its refusal to allow Claude models to be used for domestic surveillance or autonomous weapons.
