Nasdaq 100 reaches record high as semiconductor rally extends
The Nasdaq 100 has reached a record 30,732, marking its first all-time high since June.
Semiconductors helped lead the advance, with a chip-sector gauge including $NVDA and $MU rising for a sixth consecutive session, while $AMD crossed the $1 trillion market-cap threshold.
The Nasdaq Composite also closed at a record, completing the recovery among major U.S. equity benchmarks after the S&P 500 and Dow reached records in August.
