Bitwave CEO: Enterprises Could Ditch Traditional ERP and CRM Within Two Years

Bitwave CEO Pat White said enterprises could begin significant moves away from traditional ERP and CRM systems within six months to two years, driven by AI agents and the potential for major cost savings on contracts like SAP's, which can run into eight or nine figures. Speaking at BVI Finance's Fintech on the Seas summit, White said the main obstacle isn't AI model performance but governance, noting there's still no strong framework for guarantees and controls around agents.
His timeline is notably shorter than JPMorgan's view that full agentic replacement of enterprise software is a post-2028 story, though the two forecasts converge around that year as a key test period for software stocks.
