Dell surges after earnings beat and massive AI server guidance increase

Dell $DELL jumped about 7% after hours after reporting stronger-than-expected quarterly results and sharply raising its full-year outlook.
Revenue came in at $46.97 billion versus $44.78 billion expected, while EPS reached $7.04 versus a $4.90 estimate. AI server revenue totaled $16.4 billion, slightly above expectations.
The bigger surprise came from guidance. Dell raised its full-year revenue outlook to approximately $192 billion from $165-$169 billion, well above the prior consensus estimate of $173.76 billion.
AI server revenue guidance increased to $74 billion from $60 billion, while the company's AI server backlog reached roughly $95 billion. $DELL traded as high as about $454.79 in post-market trading.
