Trump Says US Could Take Stakes in OpenAI and Anthropic

President Trump says the U.S. government could potentially take equity stakes in OpenAI and Anthropic, similar to its investment in Intel.
Asked by TIME whether the government could pursue ownership stakes in the AI companies, Trump said, "I might. Maybe I could do that."
