AI-Exposed Jobs Are Seeing the Fastest Pay Growth in the U.S.

Jobs with the highest exposure to AI are seeing the strongest advertised pay growth in the U.S.
Since the start of 2021, posted wages for the most AI-exposed occupations have risen roughly 46%.
Moderately AI-exposed jobs have seen about 41% growth, compared with a 39% increase across all U.S. posted wages.
The least AI-exposed occupations have lagged significantly, with advertised pay rising only around 25% over the same period.
The gap began widening materially in mid-2025 and has continued expanding throughout this year.
The divergence suggests employers are increasingly competing for workers in roles where AI skills, implementation and technical expertise are becoming more valuable.
Rather than immediately compressing wages across the board, AI adoption appears to be creating a growing compensation premium for workers positioned closest to the technology.
The trend shows how AI is already reshaping the U.S. labor market, not just through productivity and automation, but through where employers are willing to pay the most.
