Attacker Exploits Fetch.ai, NuNet, and SingularityNET Infrastructure to Mint and Drain 2.3 Billion Tokens

An exploit targeting infrastructure connected to Fetch.ai, NuNet, and SingularityNET resulted in the minting or draining of 2.3 billion tokens across five assets, leaving the attacker with roughly $17 million in unrealized profits, according to PeckShield.
On-chain data indicates the attacker executed the following transactions:
• Drained 8.7 million FET
• Minted 408.5 million NTX
• Minted 896 million AGIX
• Minted 500.5 million WMTX
• Minted 492.4 million CGV
• Drained $289,575 from a USDC payroll contract
The exploiter has cashed out approximately $2.25 million so far, primarily through FET sales. Bitquery also traced an initial sweep of ETH and BNB across 16 wallets, four of which were tagged as "SingularityNET or NuNet staff" addresses, pointing to a broader compromise across the shared ecosystem.
At the time of the report, three of the five compromised signing keys had still not been replaced.
