SpaceX Starlink launch pace keeps accelerating

$SPCX launched 1,589 Starlink satellites in the first half of 2026.
At the current pace, SpaceX could move past last year’s record of 3,180 Starlink launches.
That matters because Starlink scale is becoming one of the biggest infrastructure advantages in low Earth orbit.
Meanwhile, $AMZN has deployed roughly 400 satellites for its own LEO network over the past 15 months.
The bigger signal is that SpaceX still appears far ahead in deployment speed, network density, and operating experience.
