$AMZN Invests $50 Billion for an Estimated 5% Stake in OpenAI

Amazon has completed a $50 billion investment in OpenAI, reportedly securing roughly 5% ownership and valuing the company at $852 billion ahead of a potential IPO next year.
Combined with the $18 billion already invested in Anthropic, $AMZN now holds major stakes in two of the world’s leading AI laboratories.
