Google and Constellation Sign Major Long-Term Nuclear Power Deals
$GOOGL and $CEG have signed a 20-year nuclear power agreement supporting upgrades at 11 reactors that are expected to add 890 MW to the PJM grid, backed by $4.3 billion of investment.
The companies also agreed to a 15-year supply arrangement covering another 2.7 GW of nuclear generation, with the first uprate expected in 2028.
The agreements show how rapidly AI-driven electricity demand is reshaping power procurement, with hyperscalers locking in long-duration nuclear capacity to support expanding data-center fleets.
