Google’s AI talent drain is still getting worse.
Two more key AI researchers, Jonas Adler and Alexander Pritzel, are reportedly expected to leave Google for Anthropic.
Both were viewed internally as important contributors to Gemini.
This follows other major exits, including John Jumper to Anthropic and Noam Shazeer to OpenAI.
The AI race is not just about models anymore.
It is about who can keep the people building them.
