U.S. and China agree to establish formal AI dialogue

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the United States and China have agreed to establish a formal dialogue focused on artificial intelligence following talks ahead of the Trump-Xi summit.
The planned dialogue creates a dedicated channel for the two countries to discuss AI as competition over advanced chips, computing infrastructure and technology policy continues.
