Jesse Pollak Pushes Back on Claims Coinbase Is “Selling ETH”

Jesse Pollak is pushing back on criticism that Coinbase is selling Ethereum.
The Base creator called the narrative “wack,” arguing that Coinbase remains the largest non-DAT holder of $ETH by an order of magnitude.
DAT refers to digital asset treasury companies whose primary strategy involves accumulating crypto on their balance sheets.
Pollak’s point is that individual Coinbase-linked ETH transactions should not automatically be interpreted as the company turning bearish on Ethereum.
As one of the largest custodians and infrastructure providers in crypto, Coinbase regularly moves assets for operational, custody and customer-related purposes.
Large onchain transfers do not necessarily equal selling.
Pollak’s message is simple:
Coinbase remains heavily aligned with Ethereum.
