Wall Street Launches Record $60B Anthropic Chip-Financing Deal
Wall Street has launched a record $60 billion financing package tied to Anthropic's lease of Google-designed AI chips, making it the largest chip-financing deal to date.
Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley are leading the financing, with roughly $42 billion backed by $AVGO, according to the Financial Times.
The banks have already begun syndicating portions of the debt to other lenders. The financing highlights the enormous amounts of capital required to secure AI compute infrastructure as frontier model developers scale their workloads.
