Wednesday's CPI Report Could Sway the Fed's Second Rate Hike in Two Months

One inflation report could sway the Fed's second rate hike in two months. The Fed hiked in September for the first time since 2023, and Wednesday brings the last CPI report before its October 28 decision.
As of October 9, traders priced about a 19% chance of an October hike, according to CME FedWatch.
