Security researchers warn FomoPeek app can compromise crypto wallets

Security firm SlowMist says versions 1.1 through 1.2 of an app called FomoPeek contain malicious code capable of compromising sensitive information on affected iPhones.
According to the report, the malware exploits iOS vulnerabilities to obtain extensive device access, potentially exposing wallet private keys and seed phrases as well as login credentials, messages and files from other applications.
Binance has warned affected users to remove the application and secure their crypto assets. The incident represents a high-risk wallet security threat for users who installed the affected versions.
