Berkshire Hathaway Boosts Alphabet $GOOGL Stake 83% to Nearly $38B

Berkshire Hathaway increased its stake in Alphabet $GOOGL by 83% during Q2.
The firm disclosed holding approximately 106 million Alphabet shares at the end of June, valued at about $37.9 billion.
That makes Google’s parent company Berkshire’s third-largest U.S. equity holding, behind only Apple $AAPL and American Express $AXP.
The sharp increase represents a major vote of confidence in Alphabet as AI, cloud and advertising continue to drive growth across the business.
