Anthropic Nears Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Appointments for Potential $2 Trillion IPO

Anthropic is reportedly close to appointing Morgan Stanley for the lead-left underwriting role and Goldman Sachs as the stabilization agent for its upcoming initial public offering, with a public filing possible as soon as next week, according to the Financial Times. Investors anticipate the company could target a valuation of $2 trillion or more, surpassing its previous $900B+ private valuation and potentially exceeding SpaceX's $1.78T listing valuation.
The artificial intelligence developer is preparing for a roadshow toward the end of September, keeping market debuts on track for late September or early October. Additionally, Anthropic recently updated shareholders that its July revenue reached an annualized pace of $65 billion, up from $47 billion in May, though falling short of the most aggressive investor projections exceeding $80 billion.
