The FDA said retatrutide and cagrilintide cannot legally be used in compounding and sent 12 new warning letters today. $HIMS did not receive one.
The letters break down as: 5 peptide/unapproved-drug letters, 4 pharmaceutical/API manufacturing CGMP letters, 2 food-import FSVP letters, and 1 mixed CGMP plus unapproved-drug letter.
Recipients included Reliance Life Sciences Private Limited, Jabil Inc., Shoolin Pharma Chem LLP, TXP Innovations LLC (dba Tex Peptides), Mesquite Gourmet LLC, Royal Peptides LLC, NuScience Peptides LLC, Peptide Partners LLC, Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, PReye LLC, Peak Performance Peptides, and B&P Mutual Corp.
