Bending Spoons to Acquire Airtable for $1.28 Billion

Italian software company Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire Airtable for $1.28 billion in cash .
Airtable serves more than 500,000 organizations , including 80% of the Fortune 100 , while annual recurring revenue has grown over 20% YoY to approximately $480 million . The company also recently launched Superagent, an AI platform for building teams of autonomous agents.
Airtable previously raised more than $1.4 billion and was valued above $11 billion in 2021 . The deal marks Bending Spoons’ first acquisition since going public at an $18 billion valuation in July, expanding a portfolio that already includes Evernote, WeTransfer, Eventbrite and Vimeo.
