Zelensky Criticizes Trump's Reported Russian Diesel Sanctions Waiver

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly criticized President Donald Trump's decision to temporarily ease restrictions on Russian diesel, calling the move unfair and dishonest.
Speaking to Axios, Zelensky compared the decision to a birthday present for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who turned 74 this week.
The criticism comes as Ukrainian and European diplomats reportedly arrived in Miami for discussions aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.
The controversy highlights the tension between efforts to reduce energy costs and maintaining economic pressure on Russia. Any increase in Russian fuel exports could generate additional revenue, although the actual financial impact would depend on shipment volumes, pricing and the waiver's conditions.
