Citi Raises $BTC Target to $113K and $ETH to $3,028
Citi has sharply raised its price targets for both $BTC and $ETH, according to Reuters.
The bank increased its Bitcoin target to $113,000 from $82,000 and lifted its Ether target to $3,028 from $2,240.
Citi is also forecasting roughly $5 billion in net crypto ETF inflows over the next 12 months.
The bank cites stronger crypto activity, a more supportive macro backdrop and a return of institutional demand as key drivers behind the upgrade.
$BTC and $ETH have already rallied roughly 40% and 68%, respectively, over the past three months.
Citi expects financial advisers and brokerages to gradually increase Bitcoin allocations, potentially creating a steadier stream of institutional demand.
The core thesis is that the current recovery is becoming less dependent on short-term retail momentum and more supported by regulated investment products and traditional financial distribution.
If ETF inflows continue building, institutional allocation could remain one of the strongest structural demand drivers for $BTC and $ETH over the next year.
