Meta prepares $200-a-month consumer AI agent
HUGE: $META is reportedly preparing to launch its consumer AI agent, Hatch, within weeks, followed by its next AI model, Watermelon, in October, according to The Information.
Hatch is reportedly inspired by OpenClaw and could include a premium tier priced as high as $199.99 per month.
The agent is expected to operate across services including DoorDash, Etsy, Reddit, Yelp and Outlook, with users able to customize a dashboard around the tools and skills it creates.
Meta's enormous consumer distribution could give it an immediate advantage as the AI market shifts from chatbots toward agents capable of taking actions across third-party services.
For $META, this could become another major attempt to directly monetize consumer AI.
