Jim Cramer Calls Apple's Foldable iPhone Duo "Revolutionary," Plans to Buy It as a Second Phone
Jim Cramer praised Apple's new foldable iPhone Duo as "revolutionary" after visiting the company's Manhattan store, saying he intends to buy it as a second device alongside his iPhone 18. "I think the 18 is incremental, but the Duo is revolutionary," he said, adding, "I intend to buy the Duo as a second phone. That's right, two phones."
Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro lineup and its first foldable iPhone on September 9, with Pro models reaching stores September 18 and Duo availability following October 23 at a starting price of $2,000. Apple shares have gained about 23.6% this year through September 18.
Cramer also pointed to a cybersecurity opportunity tied to AI, citing comments from Okta CEO Todd McKinnon that the company's identity verification technology extends to AI agents, saying "they do have identities, and once you have the identity, he knows their whereabouts."
Apple currently trades at 38.06 times forward non-GAAP earnings, about 67% above the sector median, according to Seeking Alpha data, while consensus EPS growth is expected to slow from 18.37% in fiscal 2026 to 8.58% in fiscal 2027.
