$AMZN Scales Smart Delivery Glasses to 20,000 Couriers by 2027 in Last-Mile AI Push

Amazon ($AMZN) announced plans to scale the deployment of its AI-powered Smart Delivery Glasses, projecting more than 20,000 units in the field across its logistics network by the end of 2027.
The initiative transforms last-mile package delivery into an active physical AI platform. Equipped with embedded computer vision, forward-facing sensors, and heads-up displays, the wearable systems project walking navigation, hazard warnings, package identification, and address verification directly into the driver's field of view.
The hardware expansion aims to eliminate the need for hand-held scanning devices and smartphones, reducing delivery times and improving routing efficiency while turning driver sightlines into a continuous operational data loop.
