IF YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DAY TODAY, REMEMBER THAT SOMEONE BOUGHT THE NFT OF THE VERY FIRST TWEET FOR $2.9 MILLION, AND NOW IT'S BARELY WORTH $10

The NFT of the first ever tweet was bought in 2021 for about $2.9 million by entrepreneur Sina Estavi, during the peak of the crypto and NFT hype. At the time, digital collectibles were being promoted as the future, with many believing their value would keep rising.

Just one year later, when Estavi tried to resell the same NFT, the highest bid he received was only a few thousand dollars.

It showed how quickly market excitement can disappear. Today, bids for the NFT have dropped to extremely low amounts, sometimes just a few dollars, proving that trends change fast and even the most expensive digital assets can lose value quickly.
