BlackRock Slashes Minimum Bitcoin-to-IBIT Conversion by 96%, Opening Swaps to More Holders

BlackRock slashed the minimum Bitcoin-to-IBIT conversion threshold from $25 million to just $1 million, a 96% reduction, opening in-kind swaps to far more holders and allowing eligible investors to exchange Bitcoin for ETF shares without selling first.
IBIT has now processed over $5 billion in direct Bitcoin conversions as security breaches and custody risks push more holders from hardware wallets into regulated ETFs.
