The White House has launched a new 24/7 stream called “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station,” hosted through its official media channels.
Launched on September 21, the stream promises “top videos, major remarks and must-see highlights,” with programming updated in real time.
The move comes amid an escalating dispute between President Trump and several major news organizations.
Trump recently barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House after accusing them of spreading “fake news.” The three organizations have since challenged the restrictions in federal court.
Trump TV gives the administration a direct, continuous channel for distributing speeches, announcements and selected highlights without relying on traditional media coverage.
It remains unclear how much live breaking-news coverage the service will provide versus replaying and curating administration content.
