Crypto market adds $330B as rally accelerates after CLARITY setback
The crypto market has added approximately $330 billion since the CLARITY Act failed to advance in the Senate last Tuesday, with $BTC breaking above $87,000.
Over the latest 24-hour period, roughly $740 million in short positions were liquidated, according to CoinGlass. $BTC gained about 7%, $ETH 5%, $XRP 8% and $SOL 7% as the rally broadened across major assets.
The market rebound shows that the legislative setback has not prevented strong near-term risk appetite. Previous legislation has also recovered from failed procedural votes, although the CLARITY Act's eventual outcome remains uncertain.
