US AI capex is far ahead of China

US AI capex for 2027 is projected at roughly 3 percent of GDP.
China is projected around 0.6 percent.
That gap is massive.
The US is not just spending more on AI in absolute terms.
It is committing a much larger share of the economy to the buildout.
The question is whether this becomes a productivity boom or one of the largest capital spending cycles markets have ever had to digest.
