Meta’s AI token usage is enormous

$META employees reportedly consumed 73.7 trillion AI tokens in a single month.
That could cost roughly 221 million dollars per month, or about 2.65 billion dollars per year.
This is what enterprise AI adoption looks like at hyperscale.
The usage is real, but so is the bill.
The next phase of AI spending will be about efficiency, routing, limits, and proving that token consumption actually turns into business value.
