$GOOGL Scores Antitrust Victory as Judge Rejects Forced Sale of AdX Exchange

Alphabet’s ($GOOGL) Google has secured a major legal victory after a federal judge rejected the U.S. Department of Justice's request to force a divestiture of the company's AdX online advertising exchange.
U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema declined to order a breakup of the ad tech business, opting instead to accept most of the behavioral remedies proposed by the parties.
While the court previously ruled that Google maintained illegal monopolies in publisher ad servers and ad exchanges, the decision spares the company from structural asset sales, requiring operational changes instead.
