Circle’s EURC Surpasses €400M as Euro Stablecoin Adoption Accelerates

Circle’s euro stablecoin is reaching a new milestone.
EURC has surpassed €400 million in circulation for the first time, with supply more than doubling over the past year.
Circle reported approximately €402.4 million of EURC outstanding as of August 13.
The growth comes as euro-denominated stablecoins gain adoption across exchanges, payments, FX, treasury operations and institutional settlement.
EURC is now supported across major networks including Ethereum, Solana, Base, Avalanche and Stellar, while exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp, Bybit and Bitpanda provide euro and dollar trading pairs.
Regulation is also helping.
EURC operates as a MiCA-compliant e-money token issued through Circle’s licensed European entity, giving institutions a regulated way to move euro liquidity onchain.
The broader euro stablecoin market has grown from roughly €400 million in June 2025 to around €650 million by June 2026.
EURC alone now represents a significant portion of that market.
Dollar stablecoins still dominate crypto.
But euro liquidity is finally starting to scale.
