Bitdeer Locks In $400M AI Cloud Deal in Malaysia

Bitdeer is locking in another major AI infrastructure contract.
$BTDR has signed a five-year offtake agreement expected to generate roughly $400 million in contracted revenue from its A102 AI cloud facility in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
The deal covers approximately half of the facility’s 9.5 MW capacity.
Services are expected to begin in Q1 2027.
The customer will also prepay more than half of the capital expenditures associated with the contracted capacity, reducing Bitdeer’s upfront funding burden.
The facility is built around liquid-cooled AI infrastructure and includes NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems designed for high-end training and inference workloads.
For Bitdeer, the significance is bigger than one contract.
The company is rapidly shifting from Bitcoin mining toward contracted AI infrastructure, where long-term customer commitments can provide much more predictable revenue.
Bitdeer is now targeting up to 350 MW of AI cloud data center capacity by Q1 2028.
Another Bitcoin miner is becoming an AI infrastructure company.
