Trump Escalates Iran Rhetoric, Says U.S. Has “Almost Total Control” of Strait of Hormuz

President Trump says he is not trying to force Iran back to the negotiating table and “could not care less” whether Tehran signs another agreement.
Trump described previous deals as worthless and argued that Iran is now operating from a position of severe weakness.
He also claimed the U.S. has “almost total control” of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes.
At the same time, Trump said Iran’s economy is “totally collapsing” and questioned when the Iranian people would “rise and fight” against the government.
