$BCH and $UNI Rally as CME Plans New Crypto Futures for October 19
$BCH surged to around $300 while $UNI climbed above $9 after CME confirmed plans to launch futures tied to both assets.
The contracts are scheduled to begin trading on October 19, pending regulatory approval.
CME plans to offer both standard and Micro-sized contracts for Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap, giving institutional and retail traders more flexibility in position sizing.
The products would provide regulated derivatives exposure without requiring investors to directly hold either token.
CME has steadily expanded its crypto derivatives lineup and already offers futures tied to $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, $ADA, $LINK, $XLM, $AVAX and $SUI.
Adding $BCH and $UNI further broadens regulated access to crypto markets beyond the largest assets.
The immediate price reaction suggests traders are treating CME inclusion as another step toward deeper institutional participation and liquidity for both tokens.
