Banned Nvidia chips are surging in China

Nvidia’s banned AI chips have reportedly more than doubled in price on China’s black market.
DGX B300 servers are said to be selling for more than 1.1 million dollars, up from about 400 thousand dollars in US retail pricing.
RTX 6000 Pro chips and older A100 servers have also seen sharp price increases.
Restrictions may slow access, but they are also creating a powerful scarcity premium.
