Micron Could Repurchase More Than 40% of Its Shares
UBS estimates that $MU could buy back more than 40% of its outstanding shares by the end of 2028 once its repurchase restriction expires in December 2026.
The firm expects Micron to generate more than $400 billion in free cash flow through 2028 , potentially giving the company enough capital to fund massive buybacks at current share prices.
At that scale, the reduction in share count could significantly increase earnings per share and amplify returns for remaining $MU shareholders.
