$TEM Tempus AI, Held in Nancy Pelosi's Portfolio, Trades 36% Below Highs Despite Strong Q2

Tempus AI, a smaller holding at 6% of Rep. Nancy Pelosi's disclosed $44.56 million stock portfolio, trades 36% below its all-time highs despite posting second-quarter revenue of $382.5 million, up 22% year over year, and a small GAAP profit of $5.6 million. Diagnostics revenue reached $289.3 million, up 20%, while the data and apps segment grew 28% to $93.2 million. Management raised full-year revenue guidance to $1.595-1.605 billion, roughly 25% higher year over year.
The company won FDA approval for a version of its xT cancer test, expected to add roughly $85 million in annual revenue starting in 2027, and confirmed a deal to acquire Personalis for nearly $1.5 billion in stock and cash. Tempus also refinanced part of its debt through a $460 million note offering, which management said will save more than $30 million a year in interest.
Analysts tracking Tempus AI forecast revenue rising from $1.27 billion in 2025 to $3.37 billion in 2030, with an average price target of $63, about 5% below current prices, according to consensus data from TIKR. Of 15 analysts covering the stock, eight rate it Buy and seven rate it Hold.
