India’s Sarvam to Build Trillion-Plus Parameter AI Model From Scratch

Indian AI startup Sarvam has announced plans to develop a model with more than 1 trillion parameters entirely from scratch.
The company claims it can build the model at a cost five times lower than global competitors , potentially strengthening India’s position in frontier AI development.
