Boeing $BA White-Collar Union Approves Four-Year Contract, Averting Destructive October Strike
Boeing ($BA) secured labor agreement approval from its largest white-collar union, representing approximately 17,000 engineers, scientists, designers, and technicians, successfully eliminating the threat of a strike that could have materialized as early as October 7.
The ratified four-year contract includes an immediate 10% guaranteed wage increase upon ratification, followed by 4% annual base pay raises and performance-based incentives of up to 2%.
With 68% of the professional unit and over 53% of the technical unit voting in favor, the deal removes a critical operational risk, protecting ongoing certification timelines for the 737 MAX 10 and 777X alongside broader manufacturing ramp-up plans and commercial aircraft deliveries.
