Iran threatens tanker attacks beyond Strait of Hormuz

BREAKING: Iran is warning that it could attack tankers beyond the Strait of Hormuz if Middle Eastern countries support U.S. sanctions.
Iran now considers countries backing the sanctions to be enemies, according to CBS News.
Meanwhile, Strait of Hormuz traffic has reportedly collapsed to roughly 5% of pre-war levels.
Kpler estimates only 2-3 large crude carriers are now transiting daily compared with around eight before the war.
Any expansion of tanker attacks beyond Hormuz would significantly widen the risk to global energy shipping and could add another geopolitical premium to oil prices.
